Take in the structural desert masonry as you wander the hallways and pass unique elements such as the light fixtures and furniture, most of which were designed by Wright himself.
Taliesin West was captured using the world鈥檚 smallest and lightest imaging laser scanner, the . The digital reality it produces provides a completely new way to experience Taliesin West. The video below shows the property in point cloud form. The point cloud is a dimensionally accurate laser captured representation of the property. This type of data is invaluable for the preservation of Taliesin West and can be used to continue its legacy as a living laboratory. The data gathered for this project will inform and inspire the architectural community as well as the students that study here.
